Lola Violet Henderson

I am a born and bred country bumpkin from the Cotswolds, with a lifelong passion for all things crafty and messy! I was raised in an artistic, alternative environment, with my Steiner education allowing me to explore and develop my creative side.

After finishing school in 2014, I went on to travel around the world, earning my keep painting murals in hostels in New Zealand, henna tattooing at festivals and doing an art residency at eco tented events centres.

From 2015-2018, I attended Rose Bruford College in London, where I got a 1st class degree and a wealth of experience in Scenic Arts, Prop Making and Construction.

Over covid I moved back to the Cotswolds, got a studio space and starting developing my own style of abstract painting using oils, inks and metallic powders.

Since 2020, I have been working as head maker with One World Creative - a company that specialises in large, bespoke outdoor displays and props.

In more recent summers I have been doing a lot of festival builds, including being a founding member of Panapalooza, a small festival I design and build the decor for.

In Autumn of 2023 I moved back to London with the goal of specialising in prosthesis, FX, and hyper realistic prop work as well as getting my artwork into a wider range of galleries and exhibits. So watch this space!
